The International Piano Academy is limited to 12 active participants by selection to guarantee a focused learning experience. All students will have the opportunity to perform at least three times and all participants will perform in the final concert and thus have the chance to compete for the audience prizes of €600, €300, and €200. A diploma will be issued to all participants.

Applications will be accepted until June 10. All applicants will be notified about their acceptance within two weeks of application receipt.

The fee for passive participation (as an observer) for the full two-week courses including all special events, lectures, publications, tickets to the PianoFest, and excursions is €300.

The fee for passive participation (as an observer) for one of the two weeks (14 - 20 or 20 -26) including all applicable special events, lectures, publications, tickets to the PianoFest, and excursions is €200.

• The registration fee of €50 is due with the application.

• Applications must include a biography and a list of repertoire to be performed at the master class.

• Optionally, participants may also attach a letter of recommendation, press excerpts, recordings, or other material.

• The participation fee of €600/300/200 is due on arrival on July 14, 2008 during the check-in period starting at 9:00 am in the Kaufhaussaal. It may alternatively be transferred before the start of the course to the aforementioned account, in which case the participant is responsible for any applicable transfer charges.
